Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT)Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), New Delhi, is among the premier Engineering Colleges of India. It is an Autonomous Institution of the Government of NCT of Delhi under Department of Training and Technical Education. It is affiliated to Delhi University and formally comes under the purview of Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. NSIT was formerly known as Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT) and had its campus at Kashmere Gate, New Delhi till the year 1997. The present campus is located at Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi - 110 078, India. With the conversion of Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) into Delhi Technological University (DTU), NSIT has become the only engineering college (technical institute) of the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. Since the inception of M.Tech and Ph.D programs in NSIT, it (NSIT) is conducting these programs independently under the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi, unrelated to those of Delhi College of Engineering (DCE).
