Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT)Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology (MNNIT) is one among the elite group of institutions for engineering education in India referred to as the National Institutes of Technology. Students are selected through AIEEE. The institute is located in the city of Allahabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It was formerly known as Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College and was affiliated to University of Allahabad. MNNIT has built a reputation for technical excellence by churning out competent technical professionals year after year ever since it was founded by Late Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in 1961. Today, the institute is among select colleges of India to enjoy the status of Institute of National Importance (INI).
