Model Engineering College (MEC)Govt. Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara (commonly known as MEC) is a premier institute of engineering and technology, in Thrikkakara near Kochi, Kerala. The institute was founded in 1989 and was the first among nine of its kind established under the auspices of the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) for providing technical education and to serve the growing requirement of trained technical manpower in India.
