Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT)The National Institute of Technology at Jaipur was established in the year 1963 in the "pink city" of India. MNIT is one of the 20 NIT’s established in different states of the country, governed by the NIT council under the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. The institute is fully funded by MHRD, the Government of India. The Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur is one of the Centres of Excellence in the country established by the MHRD, Government of India. The Institute formerly known as Malaviya Regional Engineering College was established in the year 1962, as a joint venture of the Government of India and Government of Rajasthan.
